Several Argentine airmen witnessed a remarkable display near London, by Mr G. S. Stnnilaiid, a well-known British pilot, in a new Fairy Firefly machine which is jirobably tile fastest fighting aeroplane in the world. Mr Staniland swooped almost to the ground at 380 miles ail hour, then, turning the machine sharply climbed to 20,000 fret in ten minutes. An Argentine aviator. Captain Castox, also tested the machine and, although it was a strange craft to him. he too looped and stunted with it after a few minutes only. The Firefly lias a 500 horse-power Rolls-Rovce engine.
