D.H.S. SWIMMING SPORTS

On Wednesday at the Hokitika Swimming Baths, the events of the Annual School Swimming Sports were decided. Weather and water were somewhat cold, but, encouraged by an appreciative audience, the entrants responded well, and some close finishes were witnessed. P. Died rich, of D.H. School, was a competitor for the Newman Cup, and succeeded in annexing the trophy for the ensuing year. Mr M.
