| On tin' l'oc-1 ini< -it ] School ground on Satiirdav. the Grcymouth Technical High School defea tod the Hokitika District High School by 25 rims on the first innings; Grev lnitted first and compiled 92, Collett 23, Gilnionr 20 and .Marshall 12 all hatted well. Knowles secured the bowling honours with five lor 2!I off 17 overs. Stapleton also bowled well, taking 3 for .‘l7. Hokitika reached only 07 in their strike, Knowles 2.‘5 being (lie only one to reach double figures. Knowles shaped very well, and was unlucky enough to be bowled with one which kept low. Kibble bowled very well in securing four wickets lor ten runs. In their *o""'d kno-k. Greymouth declared with four wickets down for 52, Ashby (not out) 21 and Marshall If) being top
scorers. Knowles was again successful with the ball, taking 3 for 23. At stumps Hokitika bad scored only 28 runs for the loss of five wickets. Collett taking 3 for 12 and Blair 2 for none.
I lie disputed match between Hokitika and Huatapu lias been decided hv the Association as a draw. Kameri are therefore the winners of the district championship for the senson.
