BY POSTAL OFFICIALS. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association,) NEW PLYMOUTH, March 11. *ne theft of £595 was admitted by William Sydney Evans, an officer in tne Inglewood Tost Office. He was committed for sentence at Wellington. The sum stolen comprised amounts paid by farmers in respect of State Advances loans. There were receipts issued by Evans, but the amounts he received were never paid to the proper accounts.
