Questions affecting the Party’s policy were discussed until a late hour, when lull coniidence in the Party’s legislative programme 'was expressed by members, who represented the lull strength of the Party. .wt the conclusion ol the meeting, thi‘ "following resolutions wor,. carried : This caucus of the Polled Parly extends its continued coniidence in its leader, Hon. C. Porl.es, and offers him its siiieerest good wishes on his return to (he Dominion from the Imperial Conference, ami records its appreciation oi the able manner in which lie represented this loyal Dominion at the Conference. The Cams desires further to exress confidence in the courageous ami statesmanlike manner in which Mi Forbes as Prime .Minister is facing the present, economic situation m the country, with a view to putting ii again on the road to prosperity.
