A motor accident occurred in Guinness Street. Greymouth, last evening, shortly a ter 9.30 o’clock, when a motor cycle ridden by Ronald McGurk collided with a motor lorry driven by Mr Hugh Morgan, which was turning into a motor garage. The rider of t!ie motor cycle was thrown heavily to the ground and sustained a fractured left arm, and a dislocated hip besides abrasions. Ho received medical attention from 'Dr. Hay and was admitted to the Grey Hospital. A pillion rider on the motor cycle, William Smith, 'escaped injury, suffering only minor abrasions, The driver of the lorry was unhurt. The motor cycle was considerably damaged.
