The Invercargill Trotting Club’s annual meeting concluded to-day in fine weather, but with a decreased attendance. The track was in good order. The tote investments for the day totolled £8,1315, as compared with £12,422 for the second day last year, a reduction of £4,2905.' The total for the meeting was £18,0325, as compared with £27,117 last year, a. drop of £9,084. In the Murihiku Handicap the Stewards reversed the judge’s placings on account of Cathedral Rose galloping past the post a nose ahead of Patehwood. Results: Trial Handicap:—(2) War Paint I; (6) Red King 2; (4) Tjena Bingen 3. Won by 3 lengths. Time 3.30 2-5. Murihiku Handicap :—(8) Patehwood 1 ; (2) Cathedral Rose 2; (3) Binatra 3. Cathedral Rose finished a nose ahead of Patehwood. but the Stewards reversed the placings on tlie grounds that Cathedral Rose galloped past the post. Time 3.41 4-5. -Southland Handicap:—(l) Belinda 1 ; OS) Wehr Bingen 2; (2) Black Lion 3. Won by $ a length. Time 4.41 3-5. Coldstream Handicap:—(B) John Appear 1: (2) 'Meditate 2; (7) Bright Sun 3. Won by a length. Time 3.33 1-5. Jellieoe Handicap:— (1) Mister Pointer 1; (9) Baby Joan 2: (3) Gold Tinge 3. Won by a length. Time 2.47.
