DEATH SENTENCE
ON COLSTON. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) HAMILTON, .February 2”. The trial of Charles Colston for the alleged murder of Mrs Anderson at National Park on January 6. concluded to-day. The greater part of the day was occupied in the addresses of counsel, and His Honour’s summing up. The jury retired at 4-30 p.m. After three hours, the jury found Charles Colston guilty- of the murder of Alice Ross Florence Anderson, at National Park. Judge .Smith sentenced the man to death. Colston, when asked if he had anything to sav, answered “No” in a firm voice.
