DAYLIGHT SAVING
EXTENSION SUGGESTED. (Wellington “Dominion.”) Next month the period fixed by Parliament for daylight saving ends.' It has been suggested that special conditions this year warrant an extension. In conversation with a “Dominion” reporter, Mr Stuart Wilson expressed the hope that Parliament, -when it meets on March 11, will extend the Summer Time Act until the end A P ril This, he remarked, would be very much appreciated by all kinds and condition of workers in the . cities and be of incalculable benefit to those who are faced with the great task of building new cities on the ruins of the old in the earthquake areas. “A short Act of this nature would only take a few minutes to pass when Parliament assembles, and I am sure,” Mr Wilson added, “would be of' groat national benefit.” . .
