Rest heavy steers sold at £l4 IQs to £TS 15s, one special fetching £l6 12s 6d. Prime handy weights sold from £ll 10s to £l2 15b medium quality £7 10s to £f) I.os, and plain from £5 10s. Extra heavy cows sold to £lO 10s 6d, heavy £8 to £0 10s, prime £6 ijs to £7 10s. medium £4 to Co 10s; light from £3. Best, heavy heifers sold to £l4 2s fid, prime £7 +o £9 ]os, medium C 4 15s to £fi, inferior from £4. There was a medium yarding of fat lambs. The market opened firm and late rates were maintained. The finality was not up to the repent standard. Medium and inferior vorts were selling at late rates. The market was dragging for medium and inferior lots. For adult sheep the best two tooth ewes met a fair demand. There wore smaller entries of fat pigs, but sufficient for requirements. Pork was slightly firmer bv 2s fid per head. Baeoners were easier. Porkerscold at 36s to 425, medium 45 to 48s fid, baeoners 50s to 555. h-avv 57s fid' to £3 4s fid; best dmrmors- to •£6 fid. Store pigs were easier, especially weaners. ' :
