OBITUARY
PIONEER PASSES. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH. February 25. Obituary.—-Norman Hugh MacFarlane, aged 87. He was a well-known runliolder and an early Canterbury pioneer. He arrived in New Zealand in 1850 with his father Liuetenant Dugald MacFarlane, who was a Waterloo veteran.
