Tbe Prince of Wales and Prince George were given a hearty reception on their arrival here to-night by aeroplane from Santiago, They were driven through the streets, while thousands cheered them. Later they were entertained at the Presidential Summer Palace. The Princes will remain here lor five days before continuing to Buenos Aires to open the British Trade Exposition. MESSAGE FOR CHURCH. 1 ONDON. I’Tlu earv 25 Lord .leilieoe and the Bishop of London, the latter president of Hie Church of England Council of Empire Settlement, have issued a statement urging Anglican Churches, at least once yearly, preferably near St. George’s Day to devote the sermon and collection to the furtherance of the Councils’ aims. “We must prepare the ground for a forward move when the clouds lift and disclose a new era of prosperity. The Church will he judged by its ability to face the task hitherto left to sectional societies.”
