The weather was fine for the resumption of the West Bodies v. Australia test match, but the wicket was badly affected by rain overnight. Brrtlnmn gave a chance to Headley at silly point off Martin before adding to his score. Woodfull was run out owing to carelessness, Bradman watching the ball instead of his partner, who was at the other end before Bradman moved. "When one hundred and forty-five Bradman thinking he had been run out. went to the pavilion, but the umpire insisted that the batsmen had crossed
Bradman returned, McCabe going out instead. Bradman showed resource on the bad wicket, but the bowlers did not take, proper advantage of the conditions, Bradman batted 142 minutes, and scored 15 boundaries. He was beautifully caught near the boundary. The Australian innings closed at l three o’clock. - West Indies’ second innings was a procession,, and the game concluded at 5.20.
