STRUCK BY A CAR. DEATH A FEW MINUTES LATER. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) WELLINGTON. February 16. Knocked down at AVaikanae by a car which did not stop. William Pudor died from his injuries last evening. Pudor who was a railway ganger about to retire from service, was crossing the road in front of the Post Office at \\ aiknnae about 8.30 p.m., when he was struck by a car, which was travelling towards Wellington.
