Pending the result of the Gandhi Conference with the Viceroy, (Lord Irwin) trouble continues in Benares, where British troops were in oecupaton of the main streets all day yesterday. Students, who attempted to obstruct the police at Dwigakund, were dispensed by a baton charge. Casualties, ns the result of fiction fights yesterday, consisted of three killed and fifty-oue injured in Jambuskar town in the Broach district of the Bombay presidency. Rioters killed one and njured two Government employees, who were guarding the crops.
