The annual meeting of the " r « s t Coast Bowling Centre was held at the Greynioutli Club's Pavilion last evening. Present: .Messrs (I. Ring (Grevmoiith) Chairman, .1. Alosfiop (Runanga), A. Benjamin (Hokitika). P. Struthers (Westport). Tulloeh (Seddonville proxy), AY. Richards (Millerton'. H Bachelor (Denniston proxy), D. AleKay (Reefton proxy), W. Beauchop (Sergeant's Hill), and A. A. Adams (Greynioutli) Secretary. The minutes of the last annual meeting held at "Westport last year were confirmed and outward correspondence approved. The balance sheet showed receipts induing credit at banks £45 4s 9d was £65 11s 3d: payments £l3 7s 3d, leaving a credit balance oi £52 4s. Received and adopted.
A discussion took place in regard to the balance from the Westport tournament and the matter was deferj'ed till later in the meeting. Inward correspondence already dealt with was received. In connection with the notice o motion by Denniston.—That the head quarters of the Centre be at Westport and that ALr Percy Struthers of Westport he elected Chairman for tlnensuing year. The Chairman stated he. (lould not accept- the notice ol motion in the order in which it w brought forward, A discussion ensued on the matter during which it was stated that there was only one available copy of the rules of the Centre and that an application by the Westport Club for a copy thereof was informed that- a copy ns not available. After a lengthy discussion Mr AlcKay moved that the next business be proceeded with, seconded by Air Moss.op and lost on division.— Ayes. Messrs Benjamin, McKay, Mossop and Chairman. Noes. Messrs Richards. Batchelor, Tulloeh. Struthers and Bauchop. Further discussion ensued before the meeting dissolved in accordance with the decision of the meeting.
