AMUSEMENTS.
HUMPHREY BISHOP COMPANY. This popular Metropolitan Company will appear this evening at the Princess Theatre after an absence of nearly four years. The only company on the road which has travelled the world without a break ior more t*an ten years, they have recently returned from an extended tour of nine months through New Zealand, and come to you direct from a record-breaking season at the New Cairo Theatre, Mel bourne. The comedy will Im mainly in the hands of Maurice Barling, Arthur Hemsley (a new favourite from Lancashire), and Syd Montyne (well known to Australian audiences), while / the more serious side will be supported by Walter Kingsley, the eminent London baritone; Thelma Trott, the Queensland soprano; and Fred Webber, the English tenor. Every artist is a star in his or her particular line of entertainment. Ensembles gems from operas, comedy sketches, and vocalists follow one another in such rapid succession that theatre goers can look forward to an entertainment that will leave them without a dull moment.
