PARLIAMENT
SPECIAL SESSION. EARLY NEXT MONTH. (Bt/ Telegraph —Per Frets Association) WELLINGTON. February 9. A special session of Parliament is to commence on Wednesday. March 11. The session is to be called for the purpose of dealing with the economic position of the country, as well as with any legislation that might be necessary as the result of last week’s earthquake in Hawke's Bay. This announcement was made by the Prime Minister shortly before his departure from Wellington by special train for the earthquake zone this evening.
