A conference of secretaries ol Federal Union and Disputes 'Committee of Sydney Labour Council decided to recommend the Australian council ol Trades Unions to declare a general strike throughout Australia as a protest against the recent reduction of wages by the Federal Arbitration Court. The speakers condemned the Federal Government for inaction, and ‘‘leaving the workers at the mercy of National appointed Judges."

The recommendation comes before the Council to-morrow.
