MISSING YACHT
NO TIDINGS OF “WINDWARD."

It is likely that the tug “Tom" will be sent out to search for the missing yacht “Windward," The yacht is now 2T days put from the Chatham Jslandis, The members of the Wellington Harbour Board, this evening agreed that the “Windward's" case appeared to he a desperate one. and they gave authority to th e Chairman and General Manager to make what arrangements they consider necessary in conducting a search for the yacht. If it is considered necessary alter consultattion with the Marine Department, the tug “Toia” will be sent out. It was also suggested that the Lyttelton ferry steamer might be asked to follow a wider course in the hope of sighting the “Windward."
The steamer “Tees," on her way out from the Chathams has been instructed to keep a siiarp lookout.
