.Some so" a clever move, in order to justify refraining from defeating the Government on the Trades Disputes Bill.
It is said Mr Uloyd-George recently, at a Liberal Party meeting, flourished a copy of tile Bill, and asked: " Who wants to fight a general election on this.” It is understood lie is determined that the election, when it comes, shall he fought on unemployment.
It was reported at a Liberal Party meeting yesterday that a majority of Hie Liberals will obey the injunction to abstain from a critical division on the Trades Disputes Bill on Wednesdav night, which, therefore, will escape defeat.
