Scotland Yard is seeking an international gang of four confidence men, wlm secured £ooo sterling during the weekend. One meeting an Australian in Piccadilly, asked for a match and offered to show him the sights of London. Later they met an accomplice at Hyde Park corner, wlm was introduced by the familiar trick of dropping keys. He told the story of a fortune which au uncle had bequeathed, after which the Australian parted with £290 sterling in ten pound notes, and seven fivers, the numbers of which are known.
