Tn the TOO yds. he covered the distance in 0 4-ssecs.. equalling the New Zealand record. Kiser, who is still suffering from the effects of the sea voyage ran a mile in 4mins. 31 secs., and the 440 in 52 3-osecs.

W. Brady, of Wellington, the Dominion high jump champion also made an appearance, making a jump of sft. lOins., while in the pole vault, he cleared Oft. lOins.. both ol which heights have never before "been done on the ground. The conditions were ideal, the day being fine with verv little wind. The attendance was 1,200 which is the largest that has ever been present at an athletic meeting in Hawke’s Bay.
