Post section play in the bowling championships was resumed on a green which was slightly holding, after yesterday’s deluge. Four games were played in the rinks. Brightling (Hataitai) beat Deare (Dunedin) 20—19. Do are and Walker (Auckland) were the only two lifers when play began. Walker drew a bye. Lobb (New Plymouth) beat Fraser (Mt. Eden), 21—12. Kilgour (Carlton) beat Murrro (Pukekohe) 11. Buckley (Grey Lynn) beat Howry (Kellnirn) 13. Pairs championship section.—D. Walker (Auckland) 10, beat Mclntyre (Huntley) 10. Singles championship, tenth round. —Bell (Hamilton) 20, beat- Moston (Auckland) 10.
