MONTREAL, January 20.
At a meeting of the, Alberta Woolgrowers’ Association at -Edmonton, a resolution was passed demanding that the Federal Government take immediate action to prevent the importation of mutton, lamb and wool into Canada from other countries, especially from Australia and New Zealand.
The speakers pointed out that the present increased prices of lamb were more or less caused by the revision of the Australian Treaty.
