(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)

LONDON, January 20.

Kaye Don surprised the experts by attaining a speed of eighty-one miles an hour at the first of the Miss England speed boat trial on Lough Nea, this performance was all the more meritorious, because it was achieved in semi darkness.
