The imports were worth 3,061,369,000 dollars, showing a decrease on 1929 of 1,337,922,000 dollars. The exports were the lowest since 1922 and the imports lowest since 1921.

LONDON, January 16. The Admiralty has decided to courtmartial four of the men arrested on the aircraft-carrier, “Lucia.” and to deal with the remainder summarily at the conclusion of the court martial.
