WOMEN’S FARMER UNIONISTS

WELLINGTON, January 17

At a meeting of the Dominion Executive of the Women’s Division of the Panniers’ Union a remit carried that New Zealand Children were inadequately protected from sexual perverts ,and that Parliament should adopt more drastic punishment. Remits referred to the Farmers’ Union protested against the unemployment levy in view of low produce prices, further expressing the view that the levy money raised in country districts should be spent in these districts, and that wages should he 12s a day or less.
