NEW YORK, January 13.
A careful examination by technical officers of Canadian National Railways and consideration by the Board of Directors in consultation with the Canadian Government, will precede any announcement by the President. Sir Henry Thornton, on the attitude ol that company towards the amalgamation ol the commercial telegraph systems u. Canadian National and Canadian Pacific. He admitted to-day that the amalgamation was under eons: l Aeration, in connection with the proposed merging of Canadian Wireless and cable systems into a single system.

A report from London, Ontario, states Doctor J. A. Ruddick, Dominion Dairy Commissioner, informed the Ontario Dairy Association that the grading c'f Canadian cheese had created a market premium of three cents per pound over the chief competitor, New Zealand.
