PRINCE OF WALES

THE ARGENTINE VISIT. (Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. 11. Preparations for the departure in the coming week of the Prince ol Wales to the Argentine, where he will perform the opening ceremony at the British Empire Industries Fair at Buenos Aires in March, are nearing completion. In view of the nature of the main function, in which he will take part, the Prince and secretariat have had ii ceries of interviews with British commercial men engaged in Argentine trade, and have taken every precaution to be as fully informed as possible on the local conditions. The Prince’s own Moth aeroplane, in which he hopes to undertake some of the travelling in South America, has been sent to Gibraltar, where it will be transferred to the aircraft carrier “ Eagle,’’ which will visit Buenos Aires, in connection with the Exhibition, In addition to her normal equipment, including a flight of Fairey “ Flycatchers,” a flight of Fairey “Threef’s” and a flight of Blackburn torpedo bombers, the “ Eagle ’’ will carry a “ Hawker-Nimrod aeroplane, which lias been selected as a successor of the “Flycatcher,” and is the fastest fleet fighter in the world, capable of a speed of two hundred miles an hour. The improved Fairey “ Three F ” will also be on board.
