ANOTHER OUTRAGE
HORRIFIES MELBOURNE, (Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE, Jan. 11. The body of Adeline Wilson, aged 16 years, was. discovered in a. paddock at Ormond, not far from her home. A stocking was stuffed into her mouth, and another was tied round her neck. Her legs word also tied. It is 'believed that she was first outraged, and then suffocated. There i s evidence that she was dragged tor some distance. This crime recalls two similar murders which recently horrified Victorian households. The police are looking for a youth who was seen talking to Adeline AY ilson near '.the front gate of her home the night before her death. She had been shockingly maltreated. This outrage is the third one within two months with similar features in each case. The girl Mena Griffiths, aged 11, was outraged and murdered, and was discovered in an empty how-e at Ormond. A man stands charged with this crime. A fortnight later Mary Dean, aged 25, a school teacher, was louml murdered in a lane at Elwood.
