DOUBLE SUICIDE
TRAGEDY IN DESERT. (Austialian Press Association) PERTH, January 11. The Coroner has just completed an inquiry into the deaths of two men in the wilderness beyond Wiluna. The victims are a New Zealander, Henry Dyer, aged -55, and Laurie Rounio, aged *3O, native of Finland. It is believed that the pair went kangaroo., hunting ami A'ost themselves. They suffered terribly from thirst, and ap--parently made a pact of suicide. Theft guns were held by their fer-t, and the barrels were directed to their throats,Dyer’s head was partially blown off.. The police found the bodies three days: later. The ground was to hard to dig a grave, so. the bodies were coveted with bushes. . The Coroner brought in a verdict o double suicide, apparently to avoid lingering death by thirst.
