Whitta, .became ill., _ It was V understood that no doctor was aboard the vessel. She was, however, speeded up and she reached Sydney on Tuesday two hours before her schedule time. The patient .was taken in an ambulance to the hospital, where he died to-day, peritonitis supervening on appendicitis. , ,;
