PLANE CRASHES
PASSENGER INJURED. (Australian Press Association.) (Received this dav at 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 8. Elaine enveloped a Moth plane which crashed two hundred leet into a field near Griffith, seriously injuring Hugh Peach, a passenger. The pilot, Hammond. miraculously escaped injury. A farmer was quickly on the scene and helped Hammond to drag Peach from the blazing machine. MELBOURNE, January 8 One of the Air Force planes engaged in a search lor Pittenriglit and Hamre who are now missing in Central Australia for nineteen days, has crashed. Two more Moths are being rushed to flu: scene.
