Canterbury won the Plunket Sliiefd match against Wellington to-day by the comfortable, margin of 139 runs, dismissing Wellington for 243. There was a fine partnership bv McGirr and James, which, caused Canterbury uneasiness. They carired’ the overnight score of 51 to 175 before James went.
