Evferiybody's Pictures present tonight with the latest Western Electric machine that is such a distinct success, a. great picture, *‘Peacock Alley.” The story is a crackorjack—• dramatic, romantic, dynamic!. A dancer going about her own affairs of the heart, is mistaken for a loose woman by a detective on watch in Peacock Alley. On tbe day of her marriage to the man of her second choice she is accused by the detective —and that is where the dramatic tirestory and the dialogue is of the smartest. George Burraud heads the cast, which is all masculine with the exception of the star. He plays the romantic lead and Jason liobards is second load. Billy Bevan plays a comedy bell hop, W. L. Thorne gives one or his famous detective impersonations, Richard Tucer is the smart New Yorker, • and E. H. Cal vert, Phillips Smalley and Arthur Hoyt play small but important roles. Marcel De Sano’s direction is super - !.
