Southland Racing Club’s summer meeting concluded to-day with a moderate attendance. The course was heavy as the result of overnight rain. The totalisator handled £13,966$ against £15,307$ last year, the total for the meeting being £29.274 against £39,4875. Gladstone Hurdles, of one . mile and three-quarters—4 Membo 1,2 Gay fashion 2, 1 Antrim Boy 3. Won hv two lengths; six lengths. Time, 3.25. An inquiry was held into the alleged crossing o; Membo by Gay Fashion in the straight. Gay Fashion finished first. It was decided to reverse the judge’s pricings, and to suspend D. O’Connor for a month. Roslyn Trot, of two miles:—s Gold Tinge 1, 4 Jolly Wave 2,2 Oimidora 3. Won by three lengths; a length. Times 4.52 4-5, 4.52 2-5, 4.54 4-5.
