LEG AMPUTATED
[By Telegraph, Per Press Association.l OAMARU, January 1. A motor-cycle and car collided near Cormacks railway crossing to-night. The cyclist, David Higgerson, twentyfive years of age, single, received serious injuries, necessitating amputation of one of his legs. His condition is grave.
