A proposal that J. Scott, the present Australian champion sculler will visit New Zealand to compete in the Dominion champion sculls,, has been abandoned. When New Zealand Rowing Association invited Scott, the date of the champiomhsip was set down for the 7th February. If this arrangement had been adhered to, Scott would have made a trip but the date was changed to 28th February, and as Scott wishes to compete in the State championships on the Nepean on 28th March and he decided definitely to abandon the idea of going to New Zealand. . .
