Owing lo Friday being a holiday the Plunket Nurse will visit Hokitika, tomorrow (Wednesday). The usual programme will be followed.
News from Christchurch to-dav notifies an advance of about a penny a pound on butter .sales as trom Saturday last. Word lias been received in Auckland (says a. press wire) of the appointment of Dr. P. H. Buck, formerly of Auckland, and now of the Bishop Museum, Honolulu, to the post of Lecturer on Anthropology for postgraduate students at Yale University, America. The position was offered to him some time ago, and lie has now intimated his acceptance ot the offer. Chest Troubles eliminated by taking British Yeast-O-Cud Cod Liver Oil Tablets. W. E.
