OBITUARY
MR C. T. LAUSTON. / The death occurred very suddenly on, Saturday, at Ruatapu, of Mr Christ topher Thomas Lauston, formerly of Bed Jacks. The deceased, who was by occupation a miner, had resided at Luafcapu for the past ten years, engaging in the timber industry, and was well respected by all who knew him. V> He leaves four sister, Mesdames Arm- / strong (Auckland), Ginnell (Westport). . • H. Blank (Hokitika), and Campbell (Ruatapu). The funeral took place this morning to Hokitika cemetery. . MR H. D. EDWARDS. A cable received reports the Sf.udden death in France of Mr H. D. Edwards, formerly Accountant at the Greymouth Post Oiflee, and latterly Controller at-, at the G.P.0., Wellington. Mr Ed- . wards, who was about 56 years of age retired last April on superannuation, leaving for Europe on a tour with his ~ wife, who is a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Wm.
