A Columbia newspaper reports that the toll of a revolutionary disturbance in South Western Venezeula is three hundred. Revolutionaries captured the town of La. Batera, killing the civil chief and burning the City Hall and public archives. The Government troops were surprised and were unable to defend the city. <■ A communique issued at San Cristobel, the capital of the State of Tachira, in which La Batera is situated, said the outbreak was a bandit depredation without any reyolutionary motive.
