SCULLIN AND MUSSOLINI
INTERVIEW AT ROME. [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] ROME, December 13. Mr J. H. Scullin (Australian Premier) to-day had an interview with Signor .Mussolini, premier Of Italy. Mr Scullin' talked for twenty nun’utes ivith' Signor Mussolini. Mr Scullin' later refused to comment to the press on the interview, hut in a conversation with Professor Valeazin, of the : Florence University, Mr Scullin pointed out that the restrictions his Government had imposedon Italian immigrants to Australia is due solely to the serious unemploy-, ment problem,' and that it is in no‘wise inspired by any unfriendliness to Italians, who were excellent workers and exemplary citizens.
