AIR FLIGHT
AN ITALIAN ARMADA

The greatest formation flight in the history of aviation will start on Monday when Italy’s Air Armada, consisting of twelve seaplanes will take off from Lake Orbello, where Musso liui lias gone for the purpose of farcweiliiii.g them. They will fly in stages across the Atlantic to Brazil. The machines fly in groups of three, thus forming four squadrons, each bein'/ distinguished by coloured markings. General Buldo is aceompaliving in I.'"' leading machine, with Chief of Staff, Yallo, and the famous Italian ace Maddalena.
The actual route is to Cartlngena, thence to Spanish Morocco, Bolama in Portuguese Guinea, from where t!<y are iseheduled to start across the At lantic on 7th January. Seven fasl scout ships will be posted en ronlo. ready in the event of a forced descea T .
