The Prince of Wales at a dinner in his honour held at the Anglo-Argentine Club, London, said that he was greatty looking forward to his visit to South America, and he mentioned the exhibition which will be the first entirely British trade exhibition staged in a for. eign country. On this occasion he hopeqi to see a little more of the marvellous life of the Argentine pampas. That desire had been stiniulatedjjy his reading some popular Argentine poems, of which he quoted verses by Santos Vega.
His Royal Highness also expressed the hope that in addition to commercial' intercourse, there should te an added interchange of Anglo-Argentine cultural ideas;
