ARAHURA CATTLE SALE. The spring fixture for sale of store cattle at tne above yards was held yesterday when some 160 head were submitted to a large attendance of. buyers mostly dairy farmers. The yarding was a very mixed one and competition was by no means animated. Good steers of colour were m demand but old cows and springers had practically no enquiry. No fats were on offer.
W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows: Uor Jos. McGuigan 2 dry cows at £6 7e 6d. For L. Kelly 11 steers at £9 14s. For J. B. Douglas 1 S.H. bull at £4 17s 6d, 3 dry cows at £4, 2 at £5, 2at £5. For C. Cook 2 dry cows at £2, cow and calf at £2 2s 6d.‘ For W, Nolan 3 .steers at £5 4s 6d. For G, Mclntosh 9 steers at £4 11s, 2 at £3 se. For A. Hcveldt 1 calf at £2 11s. For n elinet 2 aged cows and calf at £2. For T. P. O’Neil 6 steers at £6 15s, 2 heifers at £4, 1 cow at £3 10s. For T. Crough 2 runners at £3 4s. For W. Olderog 1 stag at £5 10s, 1 dry cow at '£2, cow and calf at £4 10s, 13 steers passed at £6 17« 6d. For R. J. Bradley 3 steers at £7. For D. Agnew 3 steers at £2 11s 6d, T year bull at £3 7s 6d.
