White became known at Hollywood last year as a wealthy importer who engaged in acting for the fun of it. To-day he is under arrest as Boxen Sanders, the master mind in a caylight lobberv partnership.
Tlie police have recovcre d fifty thousand sterling worth of jewels, oriental rugs and furniture which had been bodily taken from the houses of wealthy Hollywood people, chamois leather bag, containing five thousand pounds worth of loose diamonds was found strapped to Saucier’s knee.
The police assert that lie took two hundred thousand sterling worth of goods, and resold them in the cinema colony. The robberies were conducted in broad daylight by a gang, who drove to selected bouses in the garb of draymen.
