SHOP ASSISTANTS’ AWARD.

AUCKLAND, December 9. The Dominion Shop Assistants’ Award from to-day, is based with a few exceptions, on the existing award. The majority of the Court decided they could not grant wage increase. The award operates on December 27th. Raetihi. Olmkuni. Tailiape, and Marton shall observe Easter Tuesday as a holiday instead of Easter Saturday ana Wanganui and Rotorua shall observe tin' Tuesday following Labour Day instead of Easter Saturday.
