An action is proceeding in the Supreme Court before the Chief Justice in which Timothy Dunne is claiming £2OO general, and £oo 7s Od special damages from his employer, August Victor Swanson, arising ifrom injuries and lost wages as the result of plaintiff being buried in a fall of earth at the back of Ewart Hospital, in March. The accident, it is alleged, was caused by the unskilful and negligent manner in which the excavations were carried out.
