GREY V. HOKITIKA
A conclusion that is rarely seen marked the tournament between the Greymoutli and Hokitika “A’ teams, which was played on the former’s courts on Saturday. When totalling up was completed, it was found that honours were even, 12 sets and 153 games being won by each team. lhe tennis was oi a good standard, considering the lew opportunities there have been for practice. The Greymouth ladies had a margin of two sets in the singles, but the men went down by three sets to two. In the doubles however, the men accounted for every set, while the local ladies lost two out of three.

At Hokitika, the local “B” team beat the visiting Greymoutli Club •'ll’’ team, by 24 sets to four.
